Anglian Section Notes April 2020
Donald Chiswell was our speaker in February. The talk had a WW2 theme, when we learned about Operation Sealion, the ill thought out plan by Hitler to invade the UK in 1940. At our April meeting we are due to have a presentation by our own Gordon Parker, when we will hear about his involvement with building a single seat racing car. The photo is of the Triumph Trident used by our December speaker, John Young, when he completed the Iron Butt Rally in the US. After giving his presentation, John rode the Triumph from Fulbourn back to his home in the West Midlands. An “iron butt” indeed!
