A good turnout, great weather, lots to see, plenty to eat, nice ride. Brilliant. I’ll send some more photos to Pat for inclusion on the website.
And good to see Roger Murray out and about, and to hear Mrs M is recovering.
However, the mystery of why Mike Hobbs didn’t join us today has been solved. He’s messaged to advise that Pat (Mrs H) has taken a tumble, and broken her hip. A new hip has been inserted, and she feels fine – so here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.
I also heard today that Mike Jackson is in a rehab facility following a hospital acquired infection and pneumonia. The jungle drums were a bit slow on this one, as he has obviously been in a bad way for a while. But things are looking positive – so best wishes Mike from all of us.
With events on Saturday and Sunday – I hope to see you somewhere.
