Firstly, a big thank you to Dave Pink for crafting a delightful ride through Suffolk to Clare for fish and chips. A popular event in the calendar. 22 riders I believe. The sun shone. Jaqui opened up specially for us. Nobody got lost or broke down (at least on the way there!) Marvellous. We should do it again next year.
Thanks also to John Wakefield for leading some of us on the return leg – on a 79cc Yamaha Townmate.
Good to see Roger Murray out on two wheels again – although I did see a ‘for sale’ sign on his very nice BMW (a 1983 R85 for £3,750 I think). Let me know if you’re interested, and I will pass on details.
