Firstly, a vote of thanks to Stuart Bennett for a glorious ride in the sunshine to the Brocket Arms. I think I counted 16 riders plus one pillion. Some narrow country lanes, lovely countryside, a warm welcome at the pub, and we beat the rain. Marvellous.
Secondly, thanks to those that stopped to offer assistance and moral support with my frayed throttle cable on the return leg. The spare I shoved in my bag before I left home wasn’t exactly correct but was good enough to let me finish my journey. Premonition? Martyn.
