The funeral took place of our long standing friend and member Tom Nicholls on 19th July 2023
Tom’s “last ride” was in a Triumph sidecar outfit ‘hearse’ with the coffin decorated with motorcycle images and his crash helmet laid on top – very fitting.
His son, Wayne, followed the hearse on a Harley Davidson that he had ridden up from Canvey Island – a bike once owned by Tom. About a dozen bikes, mostly of section members, then followed the procession from Tom’s home to the crematorium, where a few more section members joined us for the service.
The White Horse in Milton hosted the ‘bunfight’ where a good selection of photos were on display as well as Tom’s riding sandals!
The family appreciated our attendance – so thanks to those who were able to come along.
