Anglian Section Notes (August 2023)
June provided some good outings in the sunshine: Fenland Gallop – thanks to Roger Newark for organising; meet with the Kings Lynn section at Upware; Uncle Mike back leading for a ride to Steeple Morden; and a few of us looking at steam engines at the Cambridge Technology Museum.
August activities planned include Mel’s Tortoise Run, ‘Hobbsons Choice’ Run, meet our Chairman and his trainset, section BBQ and a ride to Sunny Hunny. Phew!
Ending on a sombre note, we’ve just heard of the sad passing of Tom Nicholls, one of our regular riders, and general ‘good bloke’. He will be missed.
