Anglian Section Notes (March 2023)
Not much in the way of riding in January – but several section members turned out on two wheels for a fairly mild New Year’s Day meet on Barrington Green. A nice social event to start the year.
The post-Christmas meal at the White Swan in Connington saw 40 of us enjoy each other’s company and some good food. Well done to Drew and Chris for organising - there seemed to be a high demand for a repeat performance next year, if you’re up for it.
“Drew’s Quiz” at January’s Club Night prodded our grey matter into activity. Winners by a whisker were the quiet team in the corner: Messrs Pink, Hobbs, Denney, Boarer and Scott. The final question of the night being ‘who gets to take the bottle of fizz home?’
There will be a talk at the March club night – one way or another – details to follow when finalised.
